Jyoti Club Activity for Summer on 11th April, 2019
With the setting of summer and the temperature soaring, the Jyoti club of NHES felt the urge to bring relief to the thirsty in public places. The Joyti club members from classes 8 to 12 placed earthen pots and glasses at strategic locations in the market area of Bistupur. This thoughtful gesture of the students was appreciated by the Bistupur Police Station, and shopkeepers and vendors.
Students realized that service to society is invigorating and spreads goodwill all around. The students are now motivated to take up a similar initiative in Sakchi on 11.04.2019

World Nature Conservation Day-Dated 28th July, 2018
The Jyoti Club of NHES celebrated the World Nature Conservation Day on 28.07.18. The day recognizes that a healthy environment is the foundation for a stable and productive society and ensures the well-being of present and future generation. The members of the Jyoti Club were shown a power point presentation on global warming and its effect on the present generation. The Club members also made various usable items with the waste material so as to create a sustainable life. With the help of this activity students have understood the importance of 3 R’s – reduce, reuse and recycle.
May Day Celebration on 1st May, 2018
To understand the dignity of labour and to show their gratitude towards the sub- staff of the school, the Std. XII students along with Jyoti Club and celebrated the International May Day in the school campus. The students shared the work of the ‘bhaiyas’ and ‘didis’ to keep the school clean, make and serve tea for the teachers and looking after the main gate. They also distributed food packets and a token of gift to show their appreciation to the sub- staff. The Interact Club also took the initiative and voluntarily supplied breakfast to the sub staff on the same day. It all ended with a smile on everyone faces.
Earth Day Celebration on 22nd April, 2018
To make us realize the value of our Mother Earth, Jyoti Club at NHES celebrated the ‘Earth Day’ on 22 nd April, 2018. The students of Std. VII took part in a collage/ poster making activity to understand the numerous benefits we take from the mother earth and how to save her from pollution and degradation. 15 students took part in the activity and successfully completed making 5 collages and posters.
