Reach Out Programme on 5th November, 2019

To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, NHES initiated the Reach Out programme on 5th November, 2019. The purpose was to inculcate in students the spirit of service to others.
The NHES team comprising students from Std. 10 & 12 set out for the village Jorsa in Patamda on 5th morning. They were accompanied by teachers Mrs. Kathakali Ghosh, Mr. Pranab Dutta and Mr. Subhash Banerjee. The programme was flagged off by the Principal of the school.
The students distributed soap, biscuit packets, buns and laddus among the students of Jorsa Utkramit Vidyalaya. The students also spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness and imparted information about the Swacch Bharat Mission.
The teachers and the students of Jorsa Utkramit Vidyalaya were appreciative of this initiative. The students of NHES were happy for this opportunity to serve the community. They learnt leadership skills and realised that it was important to show empathy and serve the less privileged.

Training For ASISC Quiz Competition on 21st April, 2018
G.K Club at NHES trained the students for ASISC Quiz competition which is going to be held in the month of June. Around 50 Questions were given to the children on Science and Athletics. Mock Test was conducted on General Quiz to prepare the students for the main event.
