The co-educational school is affiliated to the Council for the ISCE, New Delhi. Students are provided with effective training beginning from L.Kg. to Std. XII, to appear in examinations conducted by CISCE for ICSE and ISC Examinations. Education is provided in a healthy, safe and conducive environment with the aim to enable students to achieve success in personal, professional and social areas.

There are presently 2265 students who are nurtured and cared for by 80 teachers. The average class strength is 45 and the teacher student ratio currently is 1:28.There are 15 Non-Teaching staff, 23 Support Staff to meet infrastructural requirements adequately. The school has 2 well-stocked libraries, 2 computer laboratories and three science laboratories to meet the educational needs of the students.

Opportunities are provided to all students to participate in a variety of sports & games, literary, cultural and social activities to facilitate development of mental / physical / emotional skills and enhance their ability to face real life situations. They participate in Inter-school activities and win laurels for the school.  Participation in adventure programmes organized by TSAF enables students to study and appreciate our environment and diverse ecology.  Activities like mountain trekking, hill climbing etc. also inculcate a sense of adventure and curiosity in students to explore the realms of the unknown. TATA Steel Adventure Foundation assists the school in providing training in activities like mountain trekking, hill climbing, river rafting and other water sports. Various hobby classes  like karate, yoga & meditation, dancing, guitar, eastern vocal & synthesizer and activity classes where elocution, debate, extempore, and creative writing are encouraged for the holistic development of the students, have been introduced.

  • Counselling is an important activity in the school set up.  Students get guidance from experienced professional counsellor & teachers, Principal and Vice Principal. Personal Counselling is also provided in the school for students with special needs. Counseling is provided to parents too.
  • Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) is a compulsory subject of study for the overall development of the children.  Participation by all students in many social service activities such as ecology related campaigns and blood donation program develops a sense of brotherhood and fraternity.  The students realize the need to build a better world for tomorrow as global citizens.
  • The School Magazine published annually with contributions from students and teachers is a regular feature.
  • Information Technology is an integral part of the school’s educational system and a subject of the school curriculum. It is also used in the teaching process.  Two well-equipped Computer Laboratories with access to the Internet provide necessary facilities for research.
